The Canon EOS 1100D comes with a 12.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor with high sensitivity up to ISO 6400 making it well suited for low-light photography. Canon’s EOS DSLRs are supported from 8-15mm ultra wide angle to 800mm super telephoto. The 1100D has Creative Automode plus an in-built Feature Guide which has a glossary of shooting modes and features in plain English making it easy to capture fantastic shots in the process. It also has a huge 2.7 inch LCD display screen with wide viewing-angle and shoots HD 720p movies.

Get more hands-on with Creative Modes
Try out the five Creative Modes of EOS 1100D and become more confident when using it. All the Creative Modes will let you modify your ISO speed, which is the basis to determine the sensor’s sensitivity to light. In that way, it will give you more freedom to be innovative with your shots in various lighting settings.
Live View Function
The EOS 1100D offers to us the familiarity of a compact camera where you can preview your shots in LiveView. Moreover, the Live View Function can be used remotely via a computer through a USB connection and in the incorporated EOS Utility software.
Sharp Focusing
You can manually select any of the 9 points to ensure correct sharp focus to get the shot that want.
Choose your style
The EOS 1100D offers Six preset picture styles that allows you to modify the look of your images by customizing Picture Style settings for color, saturation, sharpness and contrast, either in-camera or later with Canon’s comprehensive software suite, supplied with the EOS 1100D. Additional downloadable ‘Picture Style Files’ are also offered by Canon that can be installed into your camera for even more imaging choices at your fingertips.
Power in your hands
The DIGIC 4, which is Canon's latest generation of DIGIC processor, is the brain of the camera and is accountable for the outstanding reaction of all EOS models. Being quicker and more prevailing than its predecessor, the DIGIC 4 processor gives incomparable performance and low noise at advanced ISO speeds. The speed of DIGIC also means a lesser amount of processing time for long battery life and fast start-up times.
Extend your lighting capabilities
With Canon’s extensive range of Speedlites, getting great results won’t take you forever. The Speedlite range is well-suited with all EOS cameras and also includes a selection of four standard models and two models for specialist macro use.
